Refunds

Scope

This policy applies to professional engagements described on this site: readiness assessments, documentation reviews, testing walkthroughs, remediation support, and assertion workshops. It does not cover goods, software subscriptions, or services we do not offer.

Deposits

A 30% deposit is typically required to reserve fieldwork dates. Deposits are credited toward the final fee. Deposits become non-refundable once walkthrough fieldwork has started or once we have delivered draft findings, whichever comes first.

Full refund eligibility

If Automated Networks cancels an engagement before fieldwork for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for the cancelled work. If you cancel in writing more than 15 business days before the agreed fieldwork start, the deposit is refundable minus documented third-party costs already incurred (for example prepaid travel for sites outside Greater Taipei).

Partial refunds

If you cancel within 15 business days of fieldwork start, the deposit is retained. Fees for work already performed — scoping, document intake, completed walkthrough days, or delivered draft sections — remain payable. Any surplus prepaid above work performed and retained deposit is refundable.

Non-refundable items

• Completed workshop sessions (once delivered)
• Workpapers and gap maps already delivered
• Travel and lodging booked with your written approval
• Deposits after fieldwork or draft delivery has begun

Rescheduling

One reschedule with at least 10 business days’ notice is usually accepted without penalty, subject to our calendar. Later reschedules may incur a fee of up to 15% of the engagement value to cover replanning.

No-shows

If process owners are unavailable for scheduled walkthroughs without 48 hours’ notice, that day may be billed as worked. We will propose makeup dates; additional days beyond the original statement of work are quoted separately.

Work already started

Once document intake or fieldwork has begun, fees reflect time spent and deliverables produced. We do not refund for dissatisfaction with findings that accurately report control gaps; concerns about factual accuracy should be raised within 10 business days of delivery for correction review.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@automatednetworks.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Bank transfer fees charged by correspondent banks are borne by the recipient where applicable.
